Centrocafe Cooperative

The green beans that make up our Really Good Organic Coffee are sourced from a Co-operative called Centrocafe.

Located in Jaen, Centrocafe started in 1999 with 200 members and this has risen to approx 2250 currently.  Roughly around 200 containers of washed Arabica coffee is exported annually.  This cooperative is farming in the huge Cajamarca region covering the two provinces of Jane and San Ignacio.  Centrocafe provides many services to its members along with the coffee processing, such as agronomy, education, crop finance and assistance with the marketing of Peruvian coffee to the rest of the World.
