A rounded coffee with a smooth body, an abundance of sweet caramel and a hint of green apple.
This month's speciality coffee comes from Myanmar, also known as Burma, in south east Asia. The emergence of Myanmar as a coffee origin is proving popular.
Known as the Valley of Rubies, Mogok is located 200km north of Mandalay. It's altitude and cool climate provide excellent growing conditions. Our coffee producer, Thi ha Gyawalie, is not only the winner of this year's National Cupping competition in Myanmar, he is also the youngest coffee producer in Myanmar. His family have been growing coffee for 14 years on their 27 hectare farm
