We are delighted to announce that Café de Cuba, Fixx Coffee and Cha Tea have moved to a new home – under the umbrella of Hancock & Abberton.

The newly rebranded company Hancock & Abberton (still run by the original co-founders of Café de Cuba – Guy Hancock & Anne Abberton) continue to distribute the same great Cuban Coffee, Fixx Coffee and Cha Tea.

All that has changed is the name, logo and website.  Hancock and Abberton who set up the business 10 years ago, still remain passionate about coffee and their customers.

The reason for the rebrand

Having originally started the company as exclusive distributors of Cuban Coffee for Ireland and the UK, due to demand outgrowing the supply of coffee available from Cuba, we set about creating our own premium coffee blends to meet customer needs – an important step in our company’s growth and expansion.

While the demand for Cuban Coffee still remains an integral part of our business, Café de Cuba as a company name is no longer an accurate reflection of our business portfolio.  With a growing demand and recognition for our own blends – Fixx Coffee, Really Good Organic Coffee, Santiago Coffee and a successful move into the speciality tea market with Organic Cha Tea, the rebrand is a positive outcome of the company’s commitment and passion to bringing our customers Brands of Distinctions from all over the world.

What this means for our website customers

Our new website offers our customers an improved shopping experience, more product choice, and personalisation. The key website features include:

  • Improved functionality on the website allowing the customer a more streamlined shopping experience.
  • Improved engagement for the customer through personalisation
  • Quick and simple ordering with easy options for reordering
  • Simplified check out process with personalised account features
  • Secured payment
  • Mobile Friendly Website so you can shop on the move.

What this means for our trade customers

Hancock & Abberton have built up a long term relationship with its customers by being responsive, relevant and by consistently delivering value, education and excellent service.

We supply cafes, hotels, restaurants, offices, showrooms and speciality retail outlets.  This change will give us another platform on which we can continue to expand our offerings of Brands of Distinction.

We would like to thank our customers for their continued business and loyalty and we hope you enjoy the new online shopping experience.
